Glass water bottle supplier was the key phrase an Italian premium water brand searched for after repeated transit damage hurt their retail expansion. They needed custom bouteilles d'eau en verre designed for both horeca channels and supermarket shelves. The final design was a 750ml slim cylindrical bottle with a long neck, heavy base, and a slightly recessed label panel. The client requested extra-clear flint glass, a consistent crown-cap finish, and optional screen printing for limited editions. Solution
Reinforced Bottle Structure Without Changing Appearance
We optimized the glass distribution by strengthening the heel zone and smoothing the transition from body to base, improving impact resistance while keeping the same elegant silhouette.
Tightened Process Control on Annealing and Finish
To reduce hidden stress, we adjusted annealing parameters and added stricter checks on neck finish tolerance to ensure caps sealed consistently.
Transit-Tested Packaging Upgrade
We redesigned the inner partitions, introduced micro-buffer spacing at the shoulder as well as tested the new packaging with vibration and stacking simulations.
Résultats
In two production cycles, the client realized that there was a considerable decrease in transit damage and there were better consistency between batches. Their distributors were receiving less complaints and the brand was expanding in two new EU markets without having any doubts.
