A Brazilian honey brand, well known for its organic artisanal honey contacted Tak, tak. to create a premium honey jar with dipper. The client wanted packaging that would keep the honey fresh, store user experience, and give an image of gourmet. The jars had to functionally display the honey in a visually attractive way for the wholesale trade and retail display in Brazil and internationally.
Nasze wyzwania
The challenges the client faced, were many. Standard honey jar/spoons often do not have a seal and therefore keep the honey fresh. Also, many jars are fragile and can break from overfilling or during transit. Plus, the traditional design limits the branding display area significantly. Retailers are often crowded, so the client needed something unique to compete on retail shelves and yet practical to use for consumers.

Yeboda identified the three areas of importance: sealability, durability, and identity. If the jars did not have a sealing lid and a functional spoon, we would compromise the quality and experience of a user. The honey jars had to be durable enough for transport and everyday use, while having an identity that included an image and size that was very acclaimed, and had enough label space to project the client’s premium story.
Nasze rozwiązanie
We developed a custom honey jar with dipper that is made from thick, food-grade glass with a sealed lid to keep honey fresh. The jar includes a built-in spoon which is ergonomically designed for ease of use. The square and rounded surfaces are sized for complete branding with labeling opportunities. The production method was modified to include flexible minimum order quantities while guaranteeing quality and impact, whether handmade in small batches or for large volume orders.
