1. Contesto
A customer in Serbia requested the design and manufacture of a custom wide mouth mason jar with handle. The jar needed to integrate function and usability with strength and beauty, while being safe and practical for daily, longterm usage for hot and cold drinks.
2. Sfida
The addition of a handle to a mason jar makes for a much more complex mold structure than floating jars alone. It often increases the chances of uneven glass distribution, especially at the handle / jar body interface. These problems can contribute to weak points, deformation, or excessive cracking if the problems are allowed to persist.
3. Risultato
While these technical difficulties cannot be avoided, we are committed to not sacrificing quality or misleading a customer. To address the performance challenge of uneven glass distribution, we changed the mold design, changed the forming process, and tightened quality inspections. We constantly communicated with the customer and made sure all of our adjustments were in line with their desires. In the end, we achieved a strong, safe, and attractive wide-mouth mason jar with a handle – and received strong recognition from the customer.

4. Come l'abbiamo fatto
- Prior production
- The jar re -designed and refined to the mold to balance the thickness of the glass in both the body and the handle.
- Applied increased cooling procedures to reduce stress concentration on the handle joint.
- Sample development
- Prepare an initial batch of samples to review the customer.
- Adjusted handles based on detailed customer response, clarity and ergonomics.
- Cost optimization and mass production
- Provided production technology to reduce raw material waste without renunciation.
- Regular communication with clients maintained, timely distribution and complete satisfaction to share progress reports and quality checks.
Through this process, we not only gave a custom product that meets all functional and safety requirements, but also a solution that reinforces trust and long -term cooperation with our Serbian partner.
