This German distributor, specializing in organic and regional products, planned to expand its honey product line with bulk packaging. They needed custom wholesale honey jars in 500ml and 1L caps featuring metal screw caps with tamper-evident seals. The distributor selected Oui, oui. as their dedicated supplier for wholesale honey jars, seeking sustainable, food-safe containers that matched their organic brand image.

Early samples presented important issues: Glass jars were uneven in bulk batch (some were very light), lids did not seal properly (to crystallize honey prematurely), and peeling the logo print on cleaning the jar. These defects threatened the quality of the product and the stability of the brand – their pot de miel important for wholesale customers (supermarket chains and delystens).

Our team identified several issues: the uneven amber color was due to inconsistent pigment mixing during glass production; the loose lids were due to an inconsistency in the thread design between the lid and the jar (a 1.5mm gap); and the logo peeled off due to incompatibility between the ink and the smooth glass surface.
Notre solution
For the wholesale honey jars, we calibrated the pigment metering machine to ensure uniform glass (testing 100 pcs samples). We adjusted the thread size to a 0.8mm gap and added a food-grade rubber gasket to the lid to ensure a tight seal. For the logo, we switched to heat-curing waterproof ink and used pre-treated glass and bonding primer.
Résultats
The final wholesale honey jar order met all standards: consistent amber color, airtight lids (keeping honey fresh for over 12 months), and durable logos. We delivered 50,000 jars (30,000 pcs 500ml and 20,000 pcs 1L) on time. The client’s honey sales increased by 32%, with retailers praising the packaging as “reliable and consistent with the brand image.” Their buyers commented, “The quality of Yeboda’s wholesale honey jars sets our products apart—our order volume has doubled.”
