Antecedentes del cliente
The Spanish spice company approached Yeboda, a glass fábrica de tarros de especias, and came up with a line of high-quality seasonings. The order included square clear glass bottles, large mouth, bamboo lid and simple printed label. The reason the brand selected Yeboda is that they enjoy the customization options, quality inspection, and export packaging experience that Yeboda offers.

desafíos
Arañazos superficiales
There were some jars that arrived with visible scratches that had an impact on the appearance of the jars on the shelves.
Inconsistent Appearance
Quality control was complicated by the occurrence of scratches which ranged from batch to batch.
Packaging Damage
During transport, jars moved inside cartons which increased surface contact.
Análisis de causa
The Yeboda team analyzed the damaged samples and found glass-to-glass friction, lack of internal separation, and poor lighting conditions with the angle as the primary causes.
Solución
Yeboda, a glass spice jar factory, was recognized for quality, and thus implemented individual protector separators, upgraded carton partitions and pre-packed angled-light surface inspections. In addition, transit checks were done to confirm packages performance.
Resultados
New packaging minimised surface contact during transit and tighter controls led to greater batch uniformity. The Spanish brand was presented with tarros de especias de vidrio that were better prepared and they continued using their trusted factory Yeboda as a glass spice jar factory.
