Background
As a professional glass water bottle factory, Yeboda was contacted by a Poland-based mineral water brand selling sparkling and still water across Central Europe. The brand needed a stable glass water bottle factory that could guarantee leak-proof sealing for high-speed filling and long-distance distribution. They customized glass water bottles featuring crystal-clear flint glass bottles, a tall cylindrical body, a reinforced shoulder, and a 28mm PCO finish compatible with tamper-evident screw caps. The client chose Yeboda for our strict dimensional control, in-house mold development, and proven experience producing bottles for carbonated beverage packaging.

Challenges
Cap Leakage on Sparkling Water Lines
During filling trials, a portion of bottles failed pressure tests, showing micro-leaks around the cap after carbonation.
Unstable Torque Performance
Capping torque varied between batches, causing inconsistent sealing and increasing the risk of returns.
Cause Analysis
Yeboda’s engineering team conducted pressure testing and neck-finish measurements and identified the key causes:
- Minor deviations in the PCO neck finish prevented uniform cap liner compression.
- Uneven cooling during forming caused slight ovality at the bottle mouth, weakening seal integrity.

Solution
Precision Neck-Finish Calibration
We recalibrated the neck ring tooling, tightened tolerance control, and introduced go/no-go gauges for every batch.
Process Stabilization for Glass Bottles
Yeboda optimized cooling parameters and annealing curves, reducing ovality and improving consistency for all glass bottles in mass production.
Results
Leakage failures dropped by over 85%, torque stability improved significantly, and the Poland brand successfully launched both sparkling and still water lines. The project confirmed Yeboda as a dependable long-term glass water bottle factory partner for high-performance beverage packaging.
