Background
Being a professional spice jar vendor, Yeboda received an offer of collaboration with a spice jar brand, based in Poland and selling high quality seasonings to supermarkets and luxury shops. It was in need of a good spice jar supplier who could provide the high quality of glass and smooth surface to its high-end package. They customized round glass spice jars with ultra-clear flint glass, a straight-sided profile, a thickened transparent base, and metal screw caps with airtight liners. The client chose Yeboda for our advanced glass refining technology, strict optical quality standards, and strong capability in custom mold development.

Challenges
Surface Scratches and Scuffing
Finished jars showed visible surface marks after production and handling, reducing shelf appeal.
Low Glass Clarity
Some batches displayed slight haze and color inconsistency, affecting the premium look of the spice jars.
Cause Analysis
Yeboda’s technical team conducted visual inspections and material analysis and identified the core issues:
- Impurities in raw glass materials caused micro-bubbles and light distortion.
- Inadequate polishing of molds created fine surface friction marks during forming.

Solution
Raw Material Refinement
We upgraded silica purity levels, optimized batch formulas, and improved melting temperature control for higher glass transparency.
Mold and Handling Optimization
We re-polished mold cavities, introduced soft-contact handling equipment, and applied protective surface coatings during post-production.
Results
Surface defects were reduced by over 75%, glass clarity improved noticeably, and the jars achieved a consistent premium appearance. The Polish brand enhanced shelf impact and confirmed Yeboda as a long-term strategic spice jar vendor partner.
