Background
Yeboda is an established glass oil bottle dealer, a superior Greek olive oil brand approached him complaining of persistent problems with another dealer dealing with glass oil bottles. This company required a supplier capable of transcending simple supply and offer engineering solutions. The client personalized glass oil bottles, with an additional-clear flint glass, tall and cylindrically shaped, with a weighted anti-drip spout, and could use precision pourer inserts. They selected Yeboda because of our good technical support, capability to be tailored to fit and our success in enhancing the functionality of the packaging used to package edible oils.

Challenges
Inconsistent Oil Flow
The oil leaked too fast or unevenly during use and consumers could not easily control the amount of portion to take.
Dripping After Pouring
Residual oil often ran down the bottle neck after dispensing, leading to mess and negative user feedback.
Cause Analysis
Yeboda’s technical team conducted controlled pour tests and structural evaluations, identifying the root causes:
- The inner neck diameter was slightly oversized, reducing flow resistance.
- The bottle mouth tolerance did not fully align with the selected pour spout, weakening the anti-drip function.
Solution
Precision Neck Redesign
We refined the inner neck geometry to regulate flow speed and added a defined drip-cut edge to break oil flow cleanly.
Component Matching & Testing
Yeboda adjusted mouth tolerances and tested multiple pour spout options to ensure consistent, accurate dispensing across all production batches.
Results
Accurate oil dispensing improved significantly, dripping was reduced by over 75%, and consumer satisfaction increased. The Greek brand successfully enhanced its premium image, while Yeboda reinforced its position as a trusted long-term glass oil bottle dealer partner.
