Challenges
Slow Product Loading
Whole sauerkraut pieces were difficult to arrange through the existing narrow opening.
Brine Splashing
Filling liquid around tightly packed sauerkraut caused liquid splashing, soiling the jar opening.
Uneven Filling Level
Varied jar shapes made it difficult to achieve a consistent product-to-brine ratio.
Cause Analysis
Our team reviewed the jar opening size, internal profile, and filling tests. We found that limited channels and inconsistent available capacity were the causes of slow loading speeds and decreased filling accuracy.
Solution
As the exporter of this brand’s kimchi jars, Yeboda enlarged the jar opening, optimized the internal shoulder profile, and standardized the jar volume. We tested sample glass jars on the customer’s filling line to verify the ease of filling and consistency.
Results
The redesigned kimchi jars filled faster, filled cleaner, and had more consistent fill volumes. Yeboda thus became a trusted kimchi jar exporter for this Spanish brand and secured repeat orders.
